The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with Customers on large-scale datacentre modernisation, automation, or multi-cloud projects. You will produce top-tier technical designs incorporating Nutanix and related products. You will take technical leadership in designing and building Nutanix and other virtualization products, focusing on integrating the IT landscape for the EUC use case. You should be an advanced virtualization technology specialist with competencies in infrastructure or network virtualization, business-critical and cloud-native applications, data center operations, end-user computing, and/or public cloud.

About the Team

The Nutanix Professional Services team significantly influences the success of each Nutanix implementation. The Services function engages with customers during pre-sales and post-sales to assist with their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. In addition to helping customers implement Nutanix products, the team, working with partners, ensures successful deployment of virtualized and software-defined data centers. The Professional Services Consulting team provides assessment, design, implementation, integration, automation services, and project management.

Your Role
  • Lead workshops and consulting engagements with customers.
  • Conduct Nutanix consulting solutions efficiently.
  • Own the business outcomes of virtualization & EUC projects through requirements gathering and technical governance.
  • Create detailed design documents and perform hands-on implementation.
  • Collaborate with project managers on project budget and delivery.
  • Provide technical input and project reviews during pre-sales.
  • Estimate efforts accurately and advise internal groups.
  • Identify future service opportunities within projects or customers.
  • Drive practice activities such as developing methodologies, capturing intellectual property, quality assurance, and peer reviews.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Nutanix product stack.
What You Will Bring
  • Strong technical architecture background with Citrix technologies, including Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix DaaS, and Citrix ADC across multiple hypervisors.
  • Desirable skills include architecture experience with Omnissa technologies, including Omnissa Horizon.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and creating design documents as an SME for infrastructure solutions.
  • Expertise in technical design, configuration, and implementation within large-scale EUC transformations and migrations.
  • Ability to define user types, roles, access, and data storage policies impacting VDI architecture.
  • Certifications: Citrix CCP-V and CCP-N or higher.
  • Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/DaaS.
  • Knowledge of Omnissa Horizon is an advantage.
  • Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery for EUC.
  • Microsoft Certified Administrator/Architect.
  • Experience with application integration on multi-user platforms (Citrix required, Omnissa Horizon desirable).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft group policy, Citrix NetScaler, PowerShell scripting, and alternative EUC solutions is advantageous.
Work Arrangement

This position is primarily remote. There is no fixed in-office requirement, but occasional visits to local offices or travel to other locations may be necessary based on business needs.
