Job Description:

My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformations & NextGen AI Solutions, with offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle, and Glasgow. They offer a flexible working model of remote first or hybrid work, with occasional client site travel when required. Clients include sectors such as Government, Finance, Retail, and Energy.

They are seeking a Senior Consultant - DevOps/Cloud Advisory to join their rapidly growing team, leading and delivering large-scale cloud adoption and digital transformation projects across government, public, and private sectors.

Primary responsibilities:

• DevOps Capabilities: Assess, define, and implement DevOps capabilities to foster innovation, agility, cost benefits, and faster time to market.
• Holistic Modernisation: Modernise developer experience, DevOps practices, tooling, automation, architecture, and design across the organisation.
• Maximise existing IT investments in tools and frameworks.
• Roadmap Development: Create roadmaps to enhance DevOps maturity and unlock value through NextGen technologies like Generative AI and Platform Product Management.
• Collaborative Transformation: Collaborate across organisational levels to innovate and implement modern technologies, processes, and operating models for sustainable transformation.

Primary requirements:

• Must be eligible for SC Clearance.
• Proven experience in DevOps advisory, creating best practices, strategies, and solutions.
• Ability to define OKRs/KPIs, establish processes to measure and improve performance, and implement product-centric operating models.
• Strong understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE, DevSecOps, DevX, pipelines, observability, and ITIL.
• Experience leading and mentoring DevOps/SRE/Platform teams.
• Pre-sales and sales experience, including creating RFPs, demos, presentations, and business development, is advantageous.
