Job summary

Baringa is seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Consumer Products & Retail practice. You will lead advisory engagements, develop strategic and operational initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to align business strategy with IT solutions.

You will drive market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen client relationships while solving complex business challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting or related project experience in Consumer Products, with a focus on strategy, business operations, and IT, with a deep understanding of their interdependencies.
• Strong analytics expertise.
• High level of curiosity and passion for helping clients build competitive advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them in a consulting context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements across industry specialisms such as commercial growth, dynamic supply chain, product & experience re-imagination, industry centric transformation and store/ channel transformation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies to optimize operational performance, revenue growth, and go-to-market effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business strategy with IT solutions.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Foster strong client relationships by understanding needs and delivering high-impact solutions.
• Work in a collaborative team environment, using creativity and analytical thinking to solve complex business challenges.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative and forward-thinking strategies.
