We are hiring for a Senior Consultant in our Passenger Transport team, with flexible hybrid working options available across our UK offices. The role involves delivering bus projects, working closely with clients on smart ticketing, network planning, and operational optimization, supporting both existing and new clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting technical delivery of bus operations and ticketing projects
  • Client liaison to understand and fulfill their needs
  • Delivering technical solutions independently or as part of a team
  • Engaging with clients to identify future needs and secure new business
  • Continuous personal development
  • Supporting wider transport projects within SYSTRA
  • Project and proposal management
  • Communicating project objectives effectively
  • Ensuring quality assurance for investment decisions
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations

Experience required:

  • Degree in Transport Planning, Maths, Science, or equivalent experience
  • Significant bus operations experience, including network planning
  • Experience with ticketing and information projects
  • Client-facing experience, including on-site work
  • Strong report and proposal writing skills
  • Established relationships in the public and private sectors
  • Ability to manage multiple project demands
