  • Mentoring junior colleagues and playing a role in their professional development
Key skills and character
  • Positive, enthusiastic and problem‑solving
  • Excellent copywriter, producing high‑quality work to deadlines
  • A confident, articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised, with strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Clear strategic thinker with problem solving abilities
  • Able to work independently, take the initiative and solve problems
  • Experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or property
  • Experience working in strategic communications roles inhouse
  • Record of successful client management and account development in agency
  • Working for a political party or being a local councillor
  • Familiarity with the planning system, including community and stakeholder engagement
