Job description

UKIC DV / eDV Cleared Consultants – National Security & Secure Government
London | Hybrid – 3 days client site + Friday London office
Active UKIC DV / Enhanced DV clearance required
Up to £87,000 basic + performance bonus + eDV allowance

Your next career move doesn't have to be another big consultancy.

Are you looking for greater responsibility, more influence over the work you deliver and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within National Security?

We're partnering with a growing, award-winning management consultancy that's expanding its Secure Government and National Security practice.

They're looking for Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managing Consultants to support complex transformation programmes across some of the UK's most sensitive Government environments.

You don't necessarily need to come from a consultancy.

If you're currently working within the UK Intelligence Community, Defence or secure Government and have experience delivering complex change, we'd be interested in speaking with you.

What makes this consultancy different?

Unlike traditional consultancies that often separate strategy, technology, process and business change, this organisation takes an integrated approach.

Its consultants work across people, process, data, technology and operating models, helping clients solve complex problems and deliver practical, measurable and sustainable outcomes.

It's a collaborative, down-to-earth environment where consultants are trusted to take ownership, challenge thinking and build genuine relationships with their clients.

There's less emphasis on hierarchy and unnecessary bureaucracy, and more focus on delivering meaningful results.

What could you be working on?

Depending on your experience and seniority, you'll have opportunities to:

  • Lead or contribute to complex transformation and delivery programmes within secure Government.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams and operational users to understand challenges and develop solutions.
  • Analyse complex problems, facilitate workshops and translate requirements into practical outcomes.
  • Support business change, digital transformation, product delivery and operating model improvements.
  • Take ownership of workstreams, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Contribute to the consultancy's continued growth through proposals, practice development, recruitment and internal initiatives.
What experience are we looking for?

We're particularly interested in professionals with experience across one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Business Analysis – Requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement and solution definition.
  • Business Change & Transformation – Organisational change, transformation delivery, change adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Product Management – Product strategy, roadmaps, user needs and product delivery.
  • Project & Programme Management – Managing complex delivery, workstreams, risks and dependencies.
  • Target Operating Models & Service Design – Improving organisational structures, services, processes and ways of working.
  • Data & Technology-enabled Transformation – Supporting digital modernisation and business-led technology change.

You don't need to be an expert in every area. What matters is your ability to apply your experience, work collaboratively and deliver results in complex environments.

Who would be a good fit?

We're particularly keen to speak with individuals who have worked within the UK Intelligence Community, National Security, or secure Government.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience managing workstreams or delivering complex change.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, workshop facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, curious and proactive approach.
Active UKIC DV / Enhanced DV clearance is essential.

This is distinct from standard UKSV DV clearance.

Consultancy experience is beneficial, but not essential.

If you've developed these capabilities while working directly within a secure Government organisation, your experience could be equally relevant.

Salary & benefits:
  • Up to £87,000 basic salary, depending on experience and seniority.
  • Performance-related company bonus and additional eDV allowance.
  • Private medical and dental cover.
  • 25 days' annual leave plus two additional gift days (birthday and festive period).
  • Electric car and cycle-to-work salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Option to purchase additional annual leave.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • Regular team socials and a welcoming London office environment.

Whether you're already working in consulting or considering making the transition from a secure Government environment, I'd welcome a confidential conversation.
