Job summary

TSR Legal is seeking a Senior Construction Solicitor to join its established team in Birmingham. You will handle a varied non-contentious construction caseload, take ownership of matters from instruction to completion, and work closely with experienced colleagues to deliver practical advice to clients.

The role requires a qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in non-contentious construction, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage your own matters and client

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE and demonstrable experience in non-contentious construction.
• Strong grounding in construction law and contract drafting.
• Ability to manage own matters and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating construction documentation.
• Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of development and construction projects.
• Providing practical advice on contractual issues and managing construction-related risk.
• Dealing with associated documentation and third-party arrangements.
• Taking responsibility for your own workload and progressing matters efficiently.

A well-established legal team is looking to add an experienced Construction Solicitor to its growing practice.

This is an opportunity for a solicitor with a strong non-contentious construction background to join a busy team handling a varied caseload. The role offers the chance to take ownership of your own matters, work closely with experienced colleagues and have meaningful involvement with clients.

The Role

• Good commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Experience with commonly used construction contracts.
