Greenacre Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Clerk of Works to support delivery of capital works across a residential property portfolio. You will perform quality assurance inspections, monitor workmanship and materials, oversee contractor performance, and ensure projects meet high standards before handover.

You will have substantial experience in Clerk of Works or related roles, with strong QA skills, defect identification, and proactive communication to challenge substandard work when needed.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in Clerk of Works, Site Inspector or similar construction role.
• Ability to identify defects, assess workmanship and produce inspection reports.
• Strong communication skills and proactive quality assurance approach.

Aufgaben

• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure works meet specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and materials, report defects.
• Review contractor risk assessments and method statements for safety compliance.
• Produce detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence.
• Support contractor performance monitoring and provide feedback on quality and delivery.
• Undertake snagging inspections and sign-off works before handover.
• Attend project/site meetings providing technical input throughout delivery.
• Support long-term capital investment programmes and promote best practice in quality and sustainability.
