MJ Quinn Energy Department is seeking a Construction Project Planner to develop and maintain detailed project plans, integrating contractor schedules and ensuring alignment with NEC requirements.

You will monitor schedules from consent to handover, manage risk registers, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify delays and implement mitigation actions. A driving license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC contract requirements in relation to programme.
• 5+ years’ experience as a planner on complex construction/renewable energy projects.
• Experience managing risk processes, risk assessments and registers.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Project.
• Strong coordination across multiple departments.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for all phases, integrating contractor schedules.
• Ensure programmes meet contractual and project requirements.
• Monitor schedules from consent to handover and identify milestones and critical paths.
• Maintain risk registers for all projects in the portfolio.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and analyse potential delays with mitigation actions.
• Produce planning reports for management meetings and project control.
• Implement planning processes and regular progress reporting.
