Position:

Senior Construction Project Manager Onshore Wind (UK & Ireland)

An exciting opportunity to be part of RWE Renewables’ UK & Ireland Construction Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and experienced project manager to drive projects from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD), ensuring safety, timeliness, quality, and budget adherence, including successful handover to operations. You will collaborate with other talented teams within RWE Renewables.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and relevant parties for project delivery.
• Tendering for long lead items and negotiating payment/delivery terms.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely discharge of planning conditions.
• Participate in tendering and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BoP) scopes and contracts.
• Supervise and manage TSA & BoP during delivery.
• Manage budgets and schedules for each project.
• Provide regular progress and risk reports to management.
• Support and guide junior team members.
• Industry-recognized project management qualifications (PRINCE2, APMP).
• Health and safety certifications (SMSTS, NEBOSH, IOSH).
• Experience negotiating within contract frameworks like NEC3/4, FIDIC.
• Experience in utility-scale onshore wind projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Autodesk Viewer, Visio, or similar PM software.
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
