Senior Construction Project Manager Onshore Wind (UK & Ireland)

An exciting opportunity to be part of RWE Renewables’ UK & Ireland Construction Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and experienced project manager to drive projects forward from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD), ensuring safety, timeliness, quality, and budget adherence, including successful Hand Over to Operations. You will work alongside other talented teams within RWE Renewables.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties for project delivery.
• Tendering for long lead items and negotiating payment/delivery terms.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely discharge of planning conditions.
• Participate in tendering and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BoP) contracts.
• Supervise and manage TSA & BoP during delivery.
• Manage budgets and schedules for each project.
• Report periodically to management on progress and risks.
• Support and guide junior team members.
• Industry-recognized project management qualifications such as PRINCE 2 or APMP.
• Health and safety certifications like SMSTS, NEBOSH, or IOSH.
• Experience negotiating and working within contractual frameworks such as NEC3/4, FIDIC.
• Experience in utility-scale onshore wind projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Autodesk Viewer, Visio, or similar project management software.
• A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
