Job summary

Advance TRS in Aberdeenshire is seeking a Project Manager - Construction / Civil Engineering to take overall responsibility for delivering projects from initiation through handover. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, programmes and safety compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, NEC contract experience, and a practical, solution-focused approach to risks and changes. You will coordinate procurement, reporting and ensure close-out with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering construction or civil engineering projects.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, commercial management and cost control.
• Experience implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, programmes, resources, risks and competing priorities.
• Commercial awareness within an NEC environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all stages of project delivery within time and budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to meet objectives.
• Promote safe systems of work and compliance with HSE standards.
• Develop and monitor project programmes and resource plans.
• Control budgets, monitor expenditure and contract performance.
• Maintain risk registers and manage change control.
• Manage subcontractors and procurement schedules.
• Ensure project compliance and close-out.
