Advance TRS is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead heavy civils and structural works on a major infrastructure project in North East Scotland. You will oversee site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safe, on-time delivery of reinforced concrete, structural steel and associated works.

The role requires a strong track record in heavy civils, a full UK driving licence, relevant construction qualifications and up-to-date safety certifications.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar on major projects.
• Strong heavy civils background with experience on complex civil works.
• Experience overseeing structural steel, reinforced concrete and structures.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams and multiple work packages.
• Knowledge of planning, programme delivery, site logistics and safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant construction qualifications and site safety certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors across heavy civils work packages.
• Oversee reinforced concrete, structural steel, structures and underground works.
• Manage daily site operations to align with programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, including RAMS.
• Coordinate site briefings, pre-start meetings, and progress reviews.
• Manage site logistics: plant, materials, lifting operations, access and deliveries.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions for delays.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, planning, commercial and supply chain teams.
• Ensure activities comply with designs and quality standards.
• Maintain site records and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Promote safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
