Job summary

MCR Property Group in Bedfordshire is seeking an experienced Construction Project Director for a major residential-led development. The role is site-based four days a week with one day in the London office, reporting to the Construction Director and taking full ownership of delivery from pre-construction to completion.

You will lead design through RIBA Stages 3 to 6, manage on-site teams and subcontractors, oversee budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and programme compliance on a high-profile

Qualifications

• Senior project director experience in residential development or similar.
• Degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Experience with high-rise residential projects is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management and delivery of the project from pre-construction to completion.
• Oversee on-site delivery, subcontractor procurement and coordination of suppliers.
• Manage project budgets, risk registers and reporting to senior leadership.
• Coordinate design process from RIBA Stage 3 through Stage 6 and ensure buildability and quality.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and alignment with regulations and company policies.
