Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Construction Coordinator to join its team to formulate and implement the overall Project Execution Plan, developing a work packaging/purchasing strategy and performing activities to construct the facility and pre-commission for startup.

Involved in every stage, from initiation through commissioning and startup of a project, with flexible hybrid/remote working arrangements where relevant and a strong commitment to development and diversity across global projects.

Qualifications

• Appropriate level of construction experience in relevant industry sector.
• Broad and deep technical knowledge of construction discipline and processes.
• Ability to identify delivery risks and implement mitigation/contingency plans.
• Experience interpreting discipline documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced constructability input to optimize construct knowledge and reduce costs.
• Assist with PMP/PEP development, bid submissions, construction methodology.
• Provide construction technical support through FEED and detailed design phases.
• Develop build sequences/schedules with project controls and manage schedule risk.
• Contribute to contracting strategy and bid clarification.
