Job summary

Wood Group is recruiting a Construction Coordinator to join its team in Scotland to formulate and implement the Project Execution Plan, develop work packaging and strategies, and support construction through FEED and detailed design through startup.

You will provide advanced constructability input, lead the conversion of engineering designs into workpacks, manage schedules, and ensure delivery of technical standard-based construction deliverables, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in relevant industry sector.
• Broad and deep technical knowledge of construction discipline.
• Ability to identify delivery risks and build mitigation/contingency plans.
• Experience interpreting discipline documentation.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessments (RA), HAZOPS and HAZIDS.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced constructability input to engineering to reduce costs and improve safety and productivity.
• Develop PMP/PEP, bid submissions, construction methodology and strategies.
• Support customer and Wood team through FEED and detailed design phases; assist with build sequence and schedule risk management.
• Provide input to contracting strategy and bid clarification.
• Lead constructability team in converting designs to workpacks and supervising others.
• Deliver construction deliverables to required technical standards.
• Oversee constructability reviews and drive continuous improvement.
