Job summary

Gatwick Airport Limited is seeking a Senior Planner for the Airfields & Civils Team. The role offers an office-first hybrid pattern with three days in the office and two days remote, guiding schedules for complex projects with typical values around £50m+.

You will mentor junior planners and coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders to optimise resources. The package includes circa £78,000, a 5% Welcome Bonus*, £4,750 Flex Allowance, up to 20% performance bonus, and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Senior Planner on projects with value typically above £20m.
• Possession of a relevant qualification or recent demonstrable analytical experience in a STEM/construction related industry.
• Experience in managing complex projects and with Primavera software (P6), MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience of working in a live environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing robust delivery schedules with clear targets and understanding of all activities and interfaces that support the successful completion of the projects.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including contractors and project managers, engineers and subcontractors regarding the status of projects.
• Offering technical advice and support to team members about best practices and utilisation of the schedule to support the project objectives.
• Performing schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and involvement in risk management and mitigation measures.
