Job Description

I am currently seeking a Senior Construction Manager to work closely with the Senior Project Manager on a complex heavy refurbishment project of an existing commercial building in Victoria. The project involves complex strengthening works to the base of the building before adding multiple new levels to the existing structure. It includes a brand new facade replacement, full new MEP installations throughout the building, and fitting out to a CAT A specification.

This Senior Construction Manager will lead all groundwork and structural activities, including piling, facade, and additional steel frame floors. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring project progression and producing dashboards to display actual project outputs
  2. Producing mini programmes for site trades and teams
  3. Developing scope documents and supporting BOQ preparation for subcontractors
  4. Collaborating closely with structural engineers, architects, and M&E consultants to resolve design issues
  5. Working with the commercial team to note items outside of scope
  6. Monitoring design discrepancies, ensuring they are raised and resolved
  7. Managing snagging and handovers
  8. Overseeing quality assurance on the project

In return, you will receive a salary ranging from £75,000 to £90,000 plus package and bonus. The client is looking to start the candidate as soon as possible.
