THE FIRM

THE ROLE

A Senior Associate is sought to join the Construction Disputes Team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

The Construction Practice offers a comprehensive and commercially focused service to major developers, owners, employers, contractors, funders, and all other stakeholders in the construction and engineering industry.

They advise on the full range of national and international standard-form construction contracts (including FIDIC, NEC, JCT, and LOGIC), as well as bespoke contract forms and project agreements.


ABOUT YOU

England & Wales or Common-Law qualified with 6 PQE or more, you will have the experience to take on a role focusing on contentious construction work across a range of sectors including infrastructure, transport, energy, and natural resources spanning domestic, international, and cross-border matters.

Clients include employers, developers, funders, and major contractors.

  1. Solid experience acting for commercial clients in contentious matters encompassing domestic, international, and cross-border issues.
  2. Experience of a wide range of dispute resolution methods including litigation, international arbitration, adjudication, and major forms of ADR.
  3. Familiarity with major standard domestic and international forms of construction contracts including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC is required together with experience of associated transaction documents and the full range of procurement routes.
  4. Experience of working in the energy, infrastructure, transport, and resources sectors and on project financed matters would be beneficial.
