Job summary

FTI Consulting in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Consultant to investigate and analyze disputes on large construction projects, supporting the Commission Lead or Expert Witness. You will organize information and maintain records to enable effective data access and analysis.

The role is primarily based in Glasgow, with opportunities to work on commissions across the UK and wider EMEA region, supporting professional growth within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in the construction industry.
• Sound understanding of construction cost management processes.
• Working knowledge of quantum claims and/or expert reports.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze issues related to disputes on large construction projects.
• Provide support to the Commission Lead or Expert Witness on each matter.
• Organise information to facilitate data access and analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of methodologies, assumptions and sources.
• Deliver a quality product within established timeframes.
• Prepare draft written analyses in conjunction with the Commission Lead or Expert Witness.
