Job summary

J.S. Held in London seeks a Senior role in its construction advisory practice to perform delay analyses, assess costs, and support dispute avoidance and dispute resolution for complex projects.

The candidate should have construction claims experience, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, accounting or engineering, and strong MS Office skills along with Bluebeam and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera. This is a permanent on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in the engineering and construction industry, preferably with knowledge and experience of construction claims.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting or engineering.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, Bluebeam or other PDF management software, scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Schedule delay analysis.
• Loss of labour productivity analysis.
• Change in scope assessments; review of change orders.
• Analysis of labour, equipment and material costs.
• Calculation of escalated material and labour costs.
• Review and organisation of project documents; draft memoranda.
