Job Title: Senior Materials Buyer

Constructive Moves is collaborating with a leading Residential Developer/Contractor that is actively seeking a Senior Materials Buyer to join its expanding purchasing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing all types of materials for various schemes, including RC Frame Apartments and traditional housing projects within London.
2. Working primarily to agreed terms with building suppliers.
3. Occasionally sourcing new materials from different suppliers.
4. Taking off from drawings, scheduling materials to site, and analyzing quotes to secure the best prices.
5. Placing orders promptly to avoid delays in construction programs.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a construction buying role.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schedule materials accordingly.
• Strong analytical skills to compare quotes and negotiate prices.
• Proven ability to manage procurement timelines effectively.
