Job description

Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  1. Be a subject matter expert on conduct-related matters including the Consumer Duty, FCA General Pricing Practice requirements, and associated annual submissions (FCA value measures reporting, pricing reporting, and annual pricing attestation), along with relevant EU requirements.
  2. Support the operation of the Company’s Conduct Risk framework through the maintenance, development, and enhancement of procedures and systems related to Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty in the UK, as well as Product Oversight and Governance in the EEA.
  3. Assist the Senior Compliance & Conduct Manager in all conduct responsibilities managed by the team and serve as a point of contact for stakeholders on conduct-related inquiries, including wording, claims denials, review of high conduct risk management information, and complaints.

Qualifications required:

  1. Degree and experience in a financial institution, preferably an insurance or reinsurance company or similar organization.
  2. Proficiency in French (able to participate in discussions on familiar topics in meetings, and write memos, simple letters, and reports).
  3. Proficiency in English (able to lead discussions and negotiations at the highest level, and write complex reports with minimal grammatical errors).

Experience required:

  1. Excellent knowledge of insurance industry practices and current regulatory requirements for Conduct Risk management in the UK and EEA.
  2. Experience operating conduct-related controls within an assurance framework.
  3. Experience in complaints handling, preferably including Company Market and/or European operations.
