Job summary

Kings College London is seeking a highly skilled researcher to lead omics analysis, including spatial omics, in a multidisciplinary environment. You will apply advanced computational methods and work with data from biological experiments.

The role requires a PhD and significant post-PhD experience, strong programming, and the ability to communicate complex results. You will contribute to high-impact publications and collaborate with biologists and data scientists.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant subject area or equivalent research experience.
• Significant post-doctoral or industry experience in omics analysis, including spatial omics.
• Strong programming skills using Python or relevant programming language for data analysis.
• Expertise in multi-omics data integration and statistical modelling, applied to complex biological datasets.
• Experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
• Experience of working to quality assurance and quality control standards within a laboratory or research environment, ensuring data integrity and reproducibility across workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical concepts clearly to a range of audiences, including through reports, publications and presentations.
• Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and at the interface between biological data, biologists and data scientists/software engineers
