Job summary

Meraki Talent is partnering with a leading Private Wealth Management business to recruit a Senior Compliance Policy Officer. You will shape, maintain, and embed the policy framework, providing expert FCA guidance and regulatory advice to senior management and governance forums.

You will lead policy development, oversee horizon scanning, and ensure timely regulatory reporting while promoting a culture of good governance and customer-focused decision-making across the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' compliance experience within financial services or similar regulated environment.
• Experience interpreting FCA rules and applying them to business.
• Proven ability to develop or maintain compliance policy frameworks.
• Experience presenting to governance committees or Boards.
• Experience engaging regulators or external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advisory support interpreting FCA rules for the business.
• Own and maintain the firm's compliance policy framework and associated standards.
• Lead horizon-scanning to identify regulatory developments and translate them into actions.
• Prepare regulatory updates, impact assessments, and governance reporting for leadership.
• Build strong relationships with senior managers and governance forums to promote compliance culture.
• Support customer outcomes and risk management in line with regulatory requirements.
