Job description

The Senior Compliance Monitoring Advisor is responsible for leading and delivering effective compliance monitoring reviews across the business, ensuring robust oversight of regulatory adherence. The role holder will provide assurance that regulatory risks are managed effectively and produce outputs that support regulatory confidence. The Advisor will contribute to the design, development, and execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.

  1. Support in the design and development of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
  2. Conduct Monitoring Reviews and prepare Observations
  3. Lead collaboration and provide leadership within the team
  4. Identify and manage risks effectively
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for consumer credit and payment services regulations
  • Experience in effectiveness assessment and review of risk controls
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, writing, and engagement skills
  • Customer-focused with experience in customer journey design and assessment
  • Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and systematic approach
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn, research, and develop personal knowledge
