We are looking to add a passionate and dedicated Compliance Professional to join our Legal & Compliance department in London/Sliema!

The right candidate will hold a key role in a team which handles a variety of interesting compliance projects for a leading B2B iGaming software provider.

What You'll get to do:

1. Responsible for leading the regulatory compliance function and managing the maintenance of EveryMatrix licenses in our regulated European and US markets.
2. Leading the Group’s Safer Gambling efforts and ensure compliance with WLA standards.
3. Analyse entry requirements for new markets and coordinate applications for licenses.
4. Monitor and review developments within the regulatory environment of the business.
5. Advise and support internal stakeholders on compliance issues.
6. Draft, update and implement policies and procedures to ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with the applicable regulations.
7. Prepare compliance reports and training as needed.
8. Represent the Company in Industry Events and in relation to regulatory situations with Regulators.
9. Leading and managing more junior Compliance team members as required.
10. Work with the Head of Compliance, Director of Legal and Compliance and all stakeholders to ensure adherence to internal and external processes and regulation.

What You need to shine:

1. 3rd level qualification in Compliance, Law or Finance.
2. 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry, including experience in the UK market.
3. Knowledge of iGaming regulatory landscapes.
4. Experience in licensing and liaising with regulators.
5. Experience with compliance and internal control procedures and frameworks.
6. Capacity to write, research and develop processes and procedures.
7. Ability to provide advice on compliance matters to stakeholders in a direct and practical manner.
8. Ability to coordinate projects with various teams.
9. Fluency in English, including legal English.
10. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
11. Analytical thinker and solution driven.
12. Detail-oriented and organised.
13. Diplomatic skills while having the ability to put forward your ideas and take decisions.
14. Ability to perform under pressure.
15. Team player.
16. Ability to work in multicultural environment.
17. Strong written and oral communication skills.
18. Comfortable in a complex and changing business environment.

Here's what we offer:

• Start with 24 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 34 days by your fifth year with us.
• Stay Healthy: 10 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.
• Hybrid work schedule: 60% work from the office and 40% work from home per quarter (during your first 3 months, you'll be in the office full-time).
• Support for New Parents:
• 21 weeks of paid maternity leave, exceeding the mandatory 18 weeks, with the flexibility to work from home full-time if returning to work before your child turns 1 year old.
• 4 weeks of paternity leave, plus the flexibility to work from home full-time until your child is 13 weeks old.
