Coopman Search and Selection are partnered with an award-winning, professional services business that provides expert advice and regulatory consulting to financial institutions. They are looking to add a Senior Manager to their Insurance practice.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Manager:
  1. Consulting to clients in the Insurance sector with compliance-related support, including FCA authorization applications, auditing, and regulatory due diligence.
  2. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the FCA Handbook, the Financial Services and Markets Act, and the operational aspects of the Insurance space.
  3. Undertaking audits for clients, reporting findings, and recommending improvements from a regulatory perspective.
  4. Providing oversight and support to junior team members.
  5. Driving revenue and growth by identifying opportunities to offer new and value-added services.
  6. Promoting strong client relationships by remaining a trusted advisor to firms.
Experience and qualities required of the Senior Manager:
  1. Knowledge of financial regulations (ICOBS, SYSC) related to Insurance and operating firms.
  2. Previous consulting experience is essential; management experience is desirable but not required.
  3. Self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Collaborative mindset to work effectively within the team and wider business.
  6. Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data.
