The role is high-visibility, reporting directly to the CCO, and responsible for delivering the Conduct & Regulatory Compliance framework across their digital banking platform. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance culture, overseeing new product development, and managing a small Compliance team. Ideal candidates should have experience within a UK bank or FinTech and familiarity with SME banking.

Salary: up to £100,000

We’re working with a fast-growing, tech-enabled UK bank who are looking to hire a Senior Compliance contractor to cover a maternity leave.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CCO, with responsibility for shaping and delivering the Conduct & Regulatory Compliance framework across a digital banking platform serving Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises.

The Opportunity

• Play a key role in maintaining a strong compliance culture while supporting commercial growth across core banking products.
• Provide oversight, challenge and guidance on new product development, financial promotions, regulatory reporting, Consumer Duty and broader conduct risk matters.
• Act as deputy to the CCO where required and line manage a small Compliance team.
