Job summary

HomeServe Finance, in partnership with HS Credit Partners, is creating a new FCA-regulated business in Walsall. A Senior Compliance Manager will help shape the compliance framework, oversee ARs/IARs and ensure customer outcomes align with regulatory obligations while supporting growth.

The role reports to the Risk & Compliance Director, delivering assurance activity, regulatory readiness and strategic governance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Significant compliance experience in FCA-regulated consumer finance.
• Strong knowledge of Consumer Credit regulation, Consumer Duty and Financial Promotions requirements.
• Experience with lending, credit broking, Principal Firm or AR oversight environments.
• Experience developing compliance frameworks, monitoring programmes and governance arrangements.
• Ability to provide robust challenge and build stakeholder relationships.

• Develop and enhance the compliance framework for the new FCA-regulated business.
• Provide oversight of ARs and IARs.
• Deliver risk-based compliance monitoring and thematic reviews.
• Support Consumer Duty compliance and monitor customer outcomes.
• Review and approve financial promotions and customer communications.
• Provide regulatory advice to stakeholders across the business.

• Support FCA engagement and ongoing authorisation readiness.

Senior Compliance Manager - Help Shape a New FCA-Regulated Business

Walsall (Hybrid) | Up to £80,000 + 20% Bonus + Company Car or £7,000 Car Allowance

At HomeServe Finance, we're building something new.

HS Credit Partners is a newly established FCA-regulated business that will support the continued growth of HomeServe Finance through regulated credit broking and strategic partnerships. As we establish our Principal Firm model and regulatory framework, we're looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to play a key role in shaping the business from the outset.

Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Director, you'll provide independent compliance oversight, support strong customer outcomes and help ensure the business continues to operate within its regulatory obligations while delivering its growth ambitions. The role includes responsibility for compliance framework development, AR oversight, Consumer Duty governance, compliance monitoring and regulatory readiness.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and enhancing the compliance framework for HS Credit Partners.
• Providing oversight of Appointed Representatives (ARs) and Introducer Appointed Representatives (IARs).
• Delivering risk-based compliance monitoring, assurance activity and thematic reviews.
• Supporting Consumer Duty compliance and monitoring customer outcomes.
• Reviewing and approving financial promotions and customer communications.
• Providing practical regulatory advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Producing compliance reporting and management information for senior leaders and governance forums.
• Supporting FCA engagement, regulatory change initiatives and ongoing authorisation readiness.

About You

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced compliance professional who enjoys balancing regulatory requirements with commercial objectives and can provide robust challenge while building strong stakeholder relationships.

• Significant compliance experience within an FCA-regulated consumer finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of Consumer Credit regulation, Consumer Duty and Financial Promotions requirements.
• Experience within lending, credit broking, Principal Firm or Appointed Representative oversight environments.
• Experience developing compliance frameworks, monitoring programmes and governance arrangements.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience producing senior management and Board-level reporting.
• Professional compliance qualification (ICA, CISI, IRM or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• A pragmatic approach to problem solving and regulatory risk management.
