CLARC Recruitment Limited is assisting a Consumer Credit business to recruit a Senior Compliance Business Partner. The role supports the Head of Compliance and plays a key part in enhancing the firm's compliance framework.

This position suits someone with strong regulatory knowledge within a consumer credit environment, with experience of FCA requirements such as CONC, Consumer Duty and SMCR. The role can be remote with some travel to Sheffield.

Qualifications

• Leading on compliance monitoring and design of a proportionate framework.
• AML/Financial crime risk assessment and controls experience.
• Drafting and reviewing FCA-aligned policies and procedures.
• Support training to embed a culture of compliance.
• Collaboration across the business to embed compliance in processes.
• Proven experience in consumer credit financial services.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations including CONC, Consumer Duty and SMCR.
• Ability to own deliverables with minimal oversight.

• Support AML/financial crime tasks, risk assessments, and SAR investigations.
• Draft/review compliance and financial crime policies per FCA rules.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives to promote compliance culture.
• Collaborate with the wider business to integrate compliance requirements.
• Apply proven consumer credit compliance experience in practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations (CONC, Consumer Duty, SMCR).
• Manage tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision.

We are working with a Consumer Credit business who are looking to add a Senior Compliance Business Partner to their team. The role will support the Head of Compliance and play a key part in enhancing the firm's compliance framework. This opportunity would suit someone with strong regulatory knowledge within a consumer credit compliance environment. This role can be remote role with some travel to Sheffield required.

Duties & Experience required include:

• Lead on compliance monitoring to ensure delivery of the annual compliance monitoring plan - designing, establishing, and implementing a monitoring framework proportionate to the business
• Support and/lead on AML/Financial crime related tasked e.g. firm wide risk assessment, establishing controls, PEP processes, SAR investigations
• Draft, review and/or establish compliance and/or financial crime policies, procedures and frameworks in line with FCA requirements
• Support training and awareness initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance
• Collaborate with the wider business to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes
• Proven compliance experience, within consumer credit financial services sector
• Knowledge of FCA regulations with strong understanding of consumer protection requirements, CONC, Consumer Duty and SMCR
• Strong ability to meet deliverables and own responsibilities and tasks without significant oversight
