The Partner Independence team, part of the wider Ethics & Independence (“E&I”) team within Quality and Risk Management, develops policies and provides guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory and KPMG standards. We support Partners and Directors in maintaining personal independence, particularly regarding their financial arrangements.

What will you be doing?

This role involves supporting Partners and Directors through personal compliance audits related to their financial arrangements, primarily investments. You will conduct audits independently, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines. You will also supervise data collection, review outputs, and escalate issues appropriately.

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Understanding investment products and their relation to independence requirements.
2. Reviewing documentation, liaising with senior leaders, and recording information accurately.
3. Tracking audit progress and reporting to team leaders, escalating breaches as needed.
4. Supporting other key tasks as required.
