Senior Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our London team on a full-time basis.

As part of the MRSG Compliance Department, you will support compliance activities across the organization to meet standards set by Solvency II, FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s, and other relevant regulations.

You will assist Compliance Managers in providing oversight, support, and challenge to MRSG entities and key third parties, collaborating with experts within the Risk & Compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with all levels of the organization to provide compliance advice and solutions.
• Support the Advisory Compliance Manager in overseeing activities within MRSG.
• Conduct horizon scanning of regulatory changes and communicate updates effectively.
• Contribute to training programs and regulatory reporting for Lloyd’s, FCA, and PRA.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, including reporting and evaluating impacts on partners.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to resolve issues.
• Draft, implement, and review frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Promote a compliance culture internally and externally.
• Support the first line of defense and third parties on compliance obligations.
• Assist in delivering compliance and business projects.
• Work with key functions to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide regulatory advice on licensing and financial promotions.
• Prepare MI and reports for Senior Management.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely communication.
• Manage return deadlines and support reporting to ExCo and the Board.
• Support sanctions and financial crime compliance as needed.
• Understand escalation lines and responsibilities within governance groups.
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews.
