Job summary

Broster Buchanan is seeking an experienced regulatory compliance professional to interpret FCA regulations and guide stakeholders across the business. This role sits in a second/third line function within financial services and focuses on regulatory interpretation and practical guidance.

Hybrid Leeds-based position offering £40,000-£50,000 plus benefits. You will monitor compliance risks, support governance, and contribute to a strong culture of good conduct across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Compliance/Risk/Assurance/Regulatory function in financial services.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and UK regulatory landscape.
• Exposure to second or third line risk and compliance environments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret FCA regulations and assess their impact on the business.

This opportunity would suit someone currently working within a second or third line compliance, risk, assurance, internal audit or regulatory function who enjoys interpreting FCA regulations and providing practical guidance to stakeholders across the business.

You'll play a key role in helping the organisation understand and implement regulatory requirements, monitor compliance risks, and support a strong governance and control environment.
Key Responsibilities

About You

• Experience within a Compliance, Risk, Assurance, Internal Audit or Regulatory function in financial services.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and the UK regulatory landscape.
• Exposure to second or third line risk and compliance environments.
• Ability to interpret regulation and communicate requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within wealth management, investments, banking, insurance or another regulated financial services environment would be advantageous.
