About the Role

Level: 4

Department: Customer Outcomes Hub

Location: Southampton/Hybrid

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract (For Internal candidates, this will be considered a permanent move)

Contract duration: 12 months

Salary: paying between 40k-60k

As Senior Complaints Investigator, you will support the Head of Complaints with the oversight and management of the complaints team, as well as handling your own case load, by providing robust, independent judgement of complaints in line with Consumer Duty and DISP rules.

You will lead on the investigation of complex complaints, and those that are referred from senior stakeholders across the Quilter business. You will develop and maintain proactive and open relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, for example third party suppliers, insurers, the Executive and Distribution.

In addition, you will support the Head of Complaints in proactive engagement with any Claims Management Company activity and the Financial Ombudsman Service in the resolution of any complaints within their jurisdiction.

You will assist in the root cause analysis of complaints and provide accurate and timely management information, acting as Deputy for the Head of Complaints in relation to presenting or representing the complaints team at governance forums. You will maintain the review and development of processes and procedures within your teams.


About You

As Senior Complaints Investigator, you will have significant complaints management experience and knowledge of the regulatory requirements gained within a wealth management or National/Network environment.

You will lead by example, creating and maintaining a culture that promotes exceptional performance, empowerment, accountability and professionalism at all levels, where confident and proactive customer outcomes are the key driver.

You will have proven people management skills with ability to build long term relationships both internally and externally.

You will have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities with a clear delivery and customer service focus.
