As Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and driving Zooplus' global compensation strategy. You will ensure that our pay structures remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with our evolving business needs. This role plays a key part in developing and implementing a transparent and data-driven approach to rewards, supporting both employee engagement and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement Zooplus' base pay philosophy, regularly updating pay ranges to maintain market competitiveness through benchmarking.
  2. Annual Reward Cycle: Oversee pay-related processes in performance management, including merit matrix implementation and out-of-cycle pay adjustments.
  3. Bonus & Incentives: Manage bonus programs, drive enhancements to car-related benefits, and facilitate LTIP award allocations.
  4. Pay Transparency & Compliance: Lead initiatives to enhance pay fairness and transparency while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
  5. Process & System Optimization: Collaborate with Workday and People Process teams to improve reward processes and user experience.
  6. Stakeholder Training & Enablement: Equip P&C teams and line managers with the tools and knowledge to make informed pay decisions.
  7. Job Architecture: Maintain and refine the job architecture framework, ensuring alignment between career progression and pay structures.
  8. Mobility & Recognition: Partner on international pay recommendations and contribute to Zooplus' recognition strategy.
  9. Data & Insights: Conduct pay analysis to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years in Compensation & Benefits, with experience at Manager/Senior Manager level.
  • Ability to design and evolve rewards strategies, including incentives.
  • Knowledge of both compensation and benefits systems.
  • Experience with monetary and non-monetary rewards.
  • Familiar with European (especially German) compensation practices.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including presenting to senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to manage change and simplify complex processes.
