Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are...

You will provide compensation analyst support for the Alternatives, Distribution, Product, Global Operations, Global Transformation & Change and Investment Risk businesses. Partnering and consulting with HR Business Partners and business leaders to proactively identify, develop, and implement compensation strategies and solutions to achieve business goals.

You will also leverage compensation data, tools and applications and provide subject matter expertise to translate analysis into easily understood recommendations or observations.

How you'll spend your time...

  • Provide guidance to HR business partners and leaders on all compensation programs and practices for assigned business areas. Identify, develop, and implement recommendations and solutions for leaders that address business-specific challenges and align with the company's compensation philosophy. Provide guidance on compensation actions for new hires, internal transfers, and promotions and conduct proactive competitive analysis and recommend updates as necessary in line with market trends and findings.
  • Support the year-end and any off-cycle compensation processes including pre-review planning, risk adjustment, supporting leaders in allocations, analysis and presentation of proposals and data delivery for payments and awards for assigned business areas.
  • Support the design of special incentive programs, including sales incentive plans, that are competitive and aligned with business strategies and objectives. Partner with finance to ensure plans are cost effective and assist with implementation, communication and administration of special incentive programs. Monitor ongoing effectiveness of plan designs and ensure special incentive programs are administered accurately.
  • Partner with other compensation team members on initiatives that cross organizational boundaries or have implications outside immediate area of responsibility, providing leadership and expertise within specialized area(s).
  • Support compensation processes or systems, including benchmarking, evaluation of new and existing jobs, ad hoc analyses, communications, and planning for the annual compensation cycle. Participate as a team member in special compensation projects and/or key HR initiatives. May coach and mentor Compensation Analysts.
  • Support the development and delivery of compensation education and training to HR colleagues, leaders, and employees through both formal training sessions or one-on-one discussion/consultation. Develop communication plans related to new or changed compensation programs, including annual year-end compensation materials.

To be successful in this role you will have...
  • Extensive experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a global Asset Management/Finance Services organisation
  • Knowledge of UK and EMEA compensation regulations and practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative and communicative working style, both in person and remotely
  • Excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with other internal SMEs within and outside HR
