Job Description

Job Title: Senior Company Lawyer

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Company Lawyer to join their team for a full-time, fixed-term contract of 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to provide senior legal support across all operational areas and divisions within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic legal advice to senior management, executives, and project teams on complex, high-value capital projects.
  2. Manage the legal aspects of prosecutions, corporate governance, and risk management across the business.
  3. Draft and negotiate high-value commercial agreements.
  4. Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  5. Act as a line manager for the Company Lawyer and/or Prosecutions Officer.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Qualified solicitor or barrister with a Northern Ireland practicing certificate (or eligible to obtain one).
  2. At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in company and commercial law.
  3. Experience in providing legal advice in a multi-jurisdictional and highly regulated environment.
  4. Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.

Salary: To be discussed.
