Job summary

The Band 6 Home Oxygen Community Respiratory Nurse will work within the Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service, part of the Mid-Notts Cardio Respiratory service. You will plan, prepare and support home oxygen assessments in clinics and patients' homes, including travel across the Mid-Notts area with a valid UK driving licence.

The service collaborates with respiratory consultants, community teams and primary care to improve quality of life and support self-management for respiratory patients.

Qualifications

• Community nurse with Band 6 level responsibilities.
• Home oxygen assessment and review across mid-Notts area.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and support delivery of home oxygen assessments in clinics and patients' homes.
• Provide holistic multidisciplinary respiratory care and support for patients in the community.
• Work across Mid-Notts Cardio Respiratory service in partnership with other teams.
