NHS Grampian is seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) to manage referrals and caseloads, work within a multidisciplinary team, and supervise junior staff. Experience in Old Age Psychiatry and community settings is preferred, along with a valid car driver’s license.

The role involves supporting the running of the team and participating in therapeutic groups, with involvement in supervision of Band 5s and Band 3 support workers.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration.
• Preferably with Old Age Psychiatry and Community experience.
• Must be a car driver with access to a car.

Aufgaben

• Carry out first referrals in hospital clinics or home settings while managing your own clinical caseload.
• Perform thorough assessments, formulate care plans and evaluate care.
• Supervise Band 5s and Band 3 support workers within the team.
• Assist and deputise for Band 7 in running the team and activities.
• Contribute to and participate in therapeutic groups within the service.
