Senior Community Manager - 12 Month Maternity Cover

The Senior Community Manager will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for managing and growing online communities across four key dermatological brands: Vichy, La Roche-Posay, CeraVe and SkinCeuticals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of community management, from consumer engagement to professional collaborations, social media strategy, and nano influencer relations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical, advocacy, and digital departments, to ensure alignment with brand strategies and KPIs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Consumer Community Management:

  • Oversee the Community Manager in the execution of all consumer community activations across the four brands.
  • Manage and optimise the Dermaly Community Platform, ensuring its continued success and growth.
  • Oversee community management and customer care initiatives, providing exceptional support and fostering positive brand interactions.
  • Develop and implement a robust community eventing strategy, including partnerships and collaborations, in alignment with the "Be Where the Communities Are" program.

Professional Community Management:

  • Oversee the Community Manager in the development and launch of a new professional community for pharmacists as part of the Pharma-Forward program.
  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Advocacy Manager, medical team, Pharma-Forward team, and digital team to ensure a successful launch and ongoing engagement.
  • Create an online space for pharmacists to connect, learn, and share best practices.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the Assistant Community & Social Manager in the execution of organic social media strategies across the four brands.
  • Identify and manage relationships with appropriate agencies and platforms, optimising our reach and engagement.
  • Develop a forward-thinking social media strategy, including exploration and implementation of new platforms such as TikTok.
  • Oversee the Social Flirting program and integrate the new Archive platform effectively.
  • Create Social Listening strategy that informs business priorities & campaigns.

Influencer Relationship Management (IRM):

  • Oversee the Assistant Community Manager in the execution of the IRM project.
  • Foster strong relationships with key influencers, ensuring alignment between advocacy, paid, and organic campaigns.
  • Manage the L'Oréal Star platform effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with advocacy, medical, and digital teams to ensure alignment with brand strategies and KPIs.
  • Effectively communicate the team's work, achievements, and insights to internal stakeholders across CDMO, global, and zone teams.

Team Management:

  • Provide exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of three direct reports.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development and growth.

Data Analysis and Optimisation:

  • Develop and utilise data-driven insights to inform community management strategies.
  • Continuously test, learn, and measure results to demonstrate the value of the team's work.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
