Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) seeks a Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse to join the Gwynedd Learning Disability Community Health team. The post involves working across interfaces with Local Authority and partner services to deliver safe, evidence-based clinical care.

The successful candidate will follow nursing processes, demonstrate excellent communication, and contribute to pathway development.

Qualifications

• RNLD qualification and current NMC registration.
• Degree-level qualification and evidence of CPD.
• Experience in learning disability or relevant nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, safe, effective care for people with a learning disability.
• Collaborate with Local Authority, community mental health teams, and other services.
• Communicate complex information clearly to patients and families.
• Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
