Zusammenfassung

CHEC is recruiting experienced Consultant Gynaecologists for its Community Gynaecology Service in England. You will independently assess, investigate and manage women with benign gynaecological conditions in a community setting, providing safe, evidence-based care closer to home while identifying patients who require urgent investigation or secondary care input.

Key responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, decision-making, referrals, and adherence to CHEC policies.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Consultant Gynaecologist
• Current GMC registration and licence to practise
• GMC Specialist Register in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Evidence of consultant-level gynaecology practice
• Proven competence in CHEC Community Gynaecology Service
• Participation in appraisal and revalidation

Aufgaben

• Undertake comprehensive gynaecological assessments and clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose and manage patients within CHEC Community Gynaecology Service specification.
• Formulate appropriate management plans and treatment pathways.
• Request and interpret relevant investigations.
• Identify red-flag symptoms and arrange escalation where necessary.
• Make onward referrals to secondary care and specialist services as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely clinic letters.
