Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level – Community (Band 3) to provide skilled care in Keswick Community Hospital and surrounding areas. The role involves 12-hour shifts, clinical observations and detailed patient records.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and prevent hospital admissions. The post requires a care certificate or willingness to undertake it, with evidence of safeguarding knowledge,gdpr

Qualifications

• Care certificate or willingness to undertake
• Experience in health or social care
• Ability to undertake clinical observations and record findings
• Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR
• Understanding of NHS policies and multidisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities

• Undertake delegated nursing and care duties including observations and recording information
• Support patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living
• Plan and implement care in the community
• Carry out line management of other team members
• Work flexibly to meet patient needs
• Provide education and advice to patients and carers
