Job summary

In this senior role you will mentor colleagues, support service development, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure personalised, effective care. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care, or Nursery Nurse qualification.
• Experience caring for children with complex medical needs in home settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build rapport with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to children and young people with complex health needs.
• Communicate clearly with children, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Ensure safe use of clinical equipment including ventilators.
• Develop clinical competencies in tracheostomy, ventilation, gastrostomy care and other procedures.
• Mentor and support colleagues to maintain high care standards.
