Verda in London is seeking a senior head of external communications to shape and protect the company's reputation across the UK as we build a European AI cloud platform.

You will lead strategy and hands-on execution, working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate complex AI topics into clear, compelling messaging.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in external communications or related fields.
• Proven track record building impactful communications strategies.
• Ability to translate complex tech topics into clear Verda messaging.
• Experience with UK media relations and journalist networks.
• Strong project and stakeholder management with senior leaders.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will lead external communications and reputation management for Verda in the UK. The work covers both strategy and hands-on execution as we scale.

Your key competencies

• 7+ years of experience in external communications, reputation management, media relations, corporate communications, or a related field
• Track record of building impactful communications strategies
• Ability to navigate complex technological, political and business topics and to build clear messaging that positions Verda in relevant conversations
• Experience working with media and journalists in the UK market and building trusted relationships
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology, cloud, AI, SaaS, or scale-up environment
• Experience building communications strategies and navigating complex issues
• Experience supporting executive and leadership communications
• Experience with media training and spokesperson preparation
• Experience managing crisis or issues communications
