Senior Communications Engineer - 6-Month Contract | Birmingham | Hybrid | £45/hr Inside IR35

We're looking for a Senior Communications Engineer with strong technical leadership, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for integrated systems in complex buildings.

️ What You'll Be Doing

As part of a highly regarded national delivery team, you will:

• Lead the design of cutting-edge building systems such as:
• Structured Cabling (Copper & Fibre)
• BMS, VSS, ACS, IDS, and PAVA Systems
• Take projects from concept to commissioning within RIBA/BSRIA design stages.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across the UK and internationally through a Global Technology Centre (GTC).
• Attend site visits, oversee installations, and ensure delivery excellence.
• Act as a key client-facing lead, guiding decisions, managing risks, and presenting technical solutions.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Communications, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
• Expertise across security and building technology systems.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, digital infrastructure, and AV systems.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and digital/BIM workflows.
