Job Title: Senior Communications Engineer - Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 6 months initially

Location: Birmingham, with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office)

Charge Rate: £42.50 to £50 per hour (Umbrella PAYE), plus expenses where required

Key Skills and Requirements

• Experience with CCTV/VSS, PAVA, Access Control, Intruder Detection, IP Networked Assets
• Security cleared or BPSS clearance
• Communications Systems Design Consultancy experience
• Degree or equivalent in Communications, Electronic Engineering, or ICT
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership
• Experience in projects across Nuclear, Defence, Infrastructure, Government, Transportation
• Design experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Public Address Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems, structured cabling (copper and fibre optic), and IP data networking
• Understanding of AV systems design
• Experience in engineering consultancy, including RIBA/BSRIA design stages
• Site experience including installation and commissioning
• Package management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• Excellent report writing and specification development skills
• Knowledge of digital engineering / BIM, with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD (desirable)
• UK BPSS Security Clearance (preferable)
