You’ll join Wellcome’s Communications team, working closely with colleagues across News and Content, Events and Studio teams. Reporting to the Media and Planning Lead, you’ll play a key role in coordinating communications activity across the organisation, helping teams work together effectively to maximise the impact of Wellcome’s work and reputation.
You’ll coordinate communications planning and delivery across Wellcome, managing calendars, workflows and approvals to ensure activity is well-timed and strategically aligned. You’ll support media relations and digital content projects, maintain content libraries, track performance metrics, coordinate stakeholders across teams and help deliver high-quality communications that engage external audiences and support Wellcome’s mission.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have experience in communications, media relations, public relations or a related field, with strong relationship-building and communication skills. If you’re collaborative, proactive, calm under pressure and enjoy bringing people, plans and projects together to deliver great outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
Strong organisational skills with experience coordinating multiple tasksand juggling competing priorities.
Understanding of cross-channel communications, platforms andmethodologiesand ability to utilise this to influence strategic planning decisions andwork collaboratively across teams, influence strategic decisions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Proactive,organisedand able to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communicator with excellentwritten and verbal skills, able to influence and advise colleagues atdifferent levelsof an organisation.
