Job summary

VirtueTech Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a strategic Position Reporting programme across Power, Gas, LNG and Oil. You will bridge Front Office, Middle Office and Risk with Technology to deliver new phases and ensure timely delivery.

The role focuses on understanding the trade lifecycle and commodities trading, going beyond pure ETRM configuration. London-based with three days in the office, you’ll work across multiple regions and ETRM environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in commodities trading or energy sectors.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Proven track record working with Front/M Middle Office teams and developers.

Responsibilities

• Gather and rapidly translate requirements from time-constrained trading stakeholders.
• Write detailed user stories and functional requirements.
• Understand trade booking and front-to-back commodities processes.
• Support UAT and wider testing activities.
• Create mock-ups/prototypes and present data concepts to traders.
